We're a team of more than 30 people around the world with offices in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Shenzhen, and Ho Chi Minh City. Our team includes engineers with deep experience in robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision, speech recognition, natural language processing, software, and hardware. Risks and challenges
This is the third time we launch on Kickstarter (previously under Robotbase account) and the sixth time we launch a crowdfunding campaign so we are confident that we have enough experience to deliver things smoothly in time.
However, there are always risks involved with new products. But we always try to work as hard as we can to minimize those risks with our years of experiences in manufacturing, product sourcing, logistics, and quality control.
1. Inventory risk: We already have the production prototypes (10 blue units). However, We don't know yet the interest level from Kickstarter backers. Throughout the campaign, we'll monitor the number of orders closely and adjust our production as quickly as possible.
2. Supply chain risk: While we're confident that we have everything under control. However, component delays and unexpected shortages can occur. If this happens, we’ll be sure to keep you informed and work to quickly solve the problem.
Disclaimers: This is the third time we run a Kickstarter campaign, the others were campaigns for SmartDesk and Personal Robot. Both of them were really successful indeed.

If you are the super early bird or early bird backers, you will get your chair delivered early to mid November. Others will get the chair on December, just in time for Christmas.
