I see this thrown around a lot and am wondering how much truth there is to it. People use the argument that Sanders was more likeable and relatable whilst also appealing a lot more to a younger demographic. However of course he is a self described socialist which carries some stigma in the US and his more left policies didn't appeal to the wider audience.
Hillary is far up in the polls at the moment a lot due to Trump's sexual misconduct allegations and shit-talking. Could Bernie have achieved the same? I'm very unsure where to ask this question. Apologies if its in the wrong sub.
