I am so conflicted. On one hand, we need to support the kid. I always liked Trinity, but I didn't start to get the impression she was fake until her Hey Qween! appearance. At first I liked it, but something felt off to me and I couldn't figure out what. Later, I realized she seemed slightly disingenuous, as if she'd rehearsed her behavior beforehand. I cut her some slack and didn't mention my feelings. She's fierce and the fandom can be vicious, especially to black, fat, older, manly, messy, or cheap queens. I figured she was just being extra careful.

But this bugs me. When you're a public figure, and you know how it feels to have thousands of people insult you on social media, why would you do it to someone else? Besides that, Trinity knows what it's like to be attacked for being gay, for wearing makeup, and how hard it is to be different in any significant way when you're a teenager.

For me, it is multiple things:

  1. The alleged story from Mimi Imfurst of Trinity asking Bianca for money for her medication, Bianca saying she will send it to the pharmacy, and Trinity saying, "never mind," then competing in a pageant with all new gowns.

  2. Trinity setting up a Go Fund Me for her storage unit full of her drag burning down, nobody can find any news references about this, Trinity freaks out, acting like she shouldn't have to prove anything, then taking down her Go Fund Me.

  3. Phi Phi stating that she has heard from multiple people that Trinity is difficult to work with during their drama, which I know y'all do not trust Phi Phi's opinion, but I buy it. ...but he can do makeup? Just take a scroll through his instagram feed and tell me this kid doesn't have talent. Clock the eyeshadow/contour blending, neatness of eyeliner/lipstick, creative color experimentation, beautiful highlighting... NONE of that is easy to pull off and takes a lot of practice and a naturally artistic eye.

From what I can tell, he's getting torn down mostly because people don't like his eyebrows. They're clearly just his trademark and the big eyebrow trend isn't for everyone. I personally love them and think they're very editorial.

Is his look in the Covergirl image simple compared to his other looks? Yes, but I'm sure that's what they asked him to do so his image is more accessible for men who want to engage with makeup.

Of course you're entitled to an opinion and have every right to not like his style, but please don't deny the hard work and talent he has from an objective stand point.

      The hedges need to be trimmed and the color of your lips should match the color of your cornhole. And before people downvote, that's what I've learned from more seasoned queens.
