Story I believe all brothers should be made aware of…In the 1850’s the western world was beginning to develop faster than any other time…For example, in 1892 between September 1st and October 14th 81,000 emigrated to New York through the New York Harbor…During these years it customary to empty your honey bucket out your balcony on to the boardwalk/street…During these years there were more pedestrians than any other time in our world…Those that were not walking, were in either a horse drawn buggy, or wagon of sorts, either way always’s a horse at the heart…This meant that during time of rain, or spring for example, the mud/human waste/horse waste/what ever happened to be floating by would be splashed onto passing pedestrians…SO, it became customary for the MEN to walk outside of the female so HE would catch the nasty, disease ridden splashes, or even worse, catch the occasional honey pot being emptied from the balcony above…SOOOOOOO….What is your point Jeremiah??? You ask??? Well brothers, it is this…Next time your happen to be walking near a woman, make sure that gash is on the outside, there may not be any more disease, or honey pots from above, but if the random drunk just happens by, you want to make sure it is the gash that gets it, and not you!!! Just throwing down my two pennies gents, good day to you all, and again, make sure you walk on the inside, enough of taking the shit for these worthless twats!!!

My first real GF said that to me. “Men should always walk on the outside to protect the woman.”
I don’t do it for women anymore, but I did do it for a couple of women who were pushing their kids in strollers. I care more about other people’s kids than I do women. Thanks for the history JJ, I figured it came about by some dumb way to make women feel protected.

I was tought this as a kid as well. Never much paid attention to it, but it is yet another example of how men are raised to protect women at all costs.
There strong and independent it would be funny if a dog crapped on their leg.

I was raised in the Midwest, moved to California when I was 30 and had never heard of this. My girlfriend here in CA has friend of hers who went out with one time. We were walking and her friend asked me “Don’t you know gentlemen walk on nearest to the road to protect women? I would never date a man who didn’t walk on the outside.” I blew it off and didn’t say anything to her, just told my gf that it was BS – not only do cars not fly up off the street but there’s no reason why I should get killed first if it did happen.
Anyway, years passed and I finally hear news about this girl – turns out she won’t date a guy who won’t walk on the outside of the sidewalk but will get knocked up by a broke guy she barely knows who she later finds out already has six kids.
So fucking fitting.
Back then it was to protect woman. Now they just want to push you into oncoming traffic to collect the insurance.

The whole reason I even brought it up is that I was watching a video and the gash said something along those lines and it brought me straight back to my fucking INDOCTRINATED boy lessons coming out of the church while I was very young…I also grew up in Wyoming, hold doors open for women, get their car doors, go get the car out in BFE in the cold/rain/snow/whenever the fuck the fat bitch wants, hold the door for them, remove your hat at the dinner table when in their presence, you know the kind of shit I am talking about, a lot of us older men were raised this way, but it was certainly more prevalent in recent times in the mid-west…Thought I would share, especially for younger brothers that may not have know why or what the fuck it was for kind of thing…I just take every opportunity I can to undo the training we get early on, and share that with you brothers, and also hopes that I garner new bits of information myself whenever possible…Thanks for reading brothers, UNDO THE FEMININE TRAINING AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY I SAY!!!
