Opinions on an MUFC Women's Team (self.reddevils)

I personally think it's a disgrace that we as one of the top 3 clubs in the world don't have a women's team. What does it say to young girls in Manchester when they can't even have an aspiration to be able to play for United.

Thoughts?

There's no money in it, there's no entertainment in it, and the majority don't want it.

there may not ever be as much money as the mens game, but i'm sure they could make enough to offer womens teams decent wages. As the so called home of football, I'm sure there's enough female fans of the game in england to make it work even if the men don't want it.

We're a public business, making a team which the board do not expect to make any money is a bad business decision. Thus no women's team.

I don't know if it's a disgrace but it definitely doesn't reflect well on us.

It's about time we had one IMO.
