Nope. They're public figures, and I have no problem scrutinizing them, anymore than I would have a problem looking at leaked Trump documents.

I don't believe that the public's interest in what is said in private emails should be the determining factor

Actually, it needs to be the determining factor. Otherwise, every Trump, crooked politicians, and corrupt CEO will just hide his dirty dealings in the e-mails of his subordinates.
