According to a post on The_Drumpf, the heads of the five families have been given an offer they can't refuse: stop brigading r/politics (at least, not so obviously) or get their sub shut down.

Of course, the Trumpkins seem to have taken the respectful but forceful request that they follow the same rules as everyone else as the most unfair thing since Apartheid. And now the top mods must be secret $hillarists for daring to take even the simple step autodeleting links to r/politics in order to discourage the brigaging that will get them shut down.

I can't wait for the sub to be a ghost town on November 9.
