Cost of a wedding. (self.MGTOW)

I just read that the average cost of a wedding in the USA now is $32,641.00. Figure that most of that gets paid by the man, and that does not include other expenses like jewelry.

This cost would cover years and years of medical insurance premium. Invested, that money would over 40 years probably finance a big chunk of a reasonably decent retirement, if you left it alone.

Think on it. Give me your thoughts.

What is a wedding? You don't need it to be legally married. All you need is a marriage license and two consenting adults who are not currently married. If the wedding is not necessary to the creation of a legal marriage, then all you are left with is an expensive party.

That is the case, but social pressures make guys fork over for big wedding rituals. I see your point, but few guys are as wise with money, at least the ones who still get married. It is really enough to make one turn on the television and watch "As The Stomach Turns."
