Fox News anchor doxxes woman who accused Trump of groping her
Lou Dobbs tweeted her address and phone number to his 793,000 followers.
Fox Business Anchor Lou Dobbs, an open Trump supporter, published the alleged address and phone number of Jessica Leeds, a 74-year-old woman who alleges that Trump groped her when she was seated next to her on a plane decades ago.
Dobbs quoted a tweet from a Trump supporter that contained a link to a conservative site alleging links between Leeds and the Clinton Foundation, which included her address and phone number and falsely claimed that her phone number and the Foundation’s number were the same. Her information was visible Dobb’s tweet.
That original tweet has since been deleted. Dobb’s tweet, however, remains live — and was retweeted 800 times while the personal information was still included.

In response to allegations from multiple women coming forward with stories of sexual harassment and assault at the hands of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, the campaign is doubling down on attempts to smear and silence his accusers.
Trump surrogates have suggested that the women coming forward are just seeking “15 minutes of fame” and questioned their timing. The campaign has also threatened to take action against the women coming forward; a high-ranking source in the campaign told CNN “politically motivated accusers better lawyer up.”

The campaign is also minimizing and normalizing assault by saying that it’s “locker room talk” and “just words,” which Laura Palumbo at the National Sexual Violence Resource Center told ThinkProgress could make it harder for other victims to come forward.
Lou Dobbs eventually tweeted an apology for doxxing Leeds.
Trump, for his part, has also attacked some of the women’s appearance, saying that they are too ugly to merit sexual assault.
