Marcus Rashford Makes List Of Most Popular Shirt Names In Premier League

Growing up I only ever got my own name on the back of a replica football shirt because I couldn't trust players to stay at the club. But for those who are more trusting Marcus Rashford has made a list of most popular players

For many the start of a new season means a new replica shirt. Well these days it's probably more likely to be a new shirt or three with the amount of times a club wears the second and third shirts.

But who has everyone been having printed on the back of their shirt? According to Sports Direct, via Dream Team FC, Manchester United stars are very popular right now with four of their big names in the top 10.

Their figures suggest that Paul Pogba is the number one this season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in second and Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez making up the top three.

Mesut Ozil and Philippe Coutinho make up the top five. David de Gea is the only goalkeeper in the top 10 followed by Sadio Mane, Dimitri Payet, Eden Hazard and finally Marcus Rashford.

Back in July Sports Direct and Kitbag announced the list for the most popular shirt names in the world for last season. Wayne Rooney was in sixth on that list but in the Premier League this season he finds himself in just 13th!
