Clinton leads Trump, 43 to 34 percent, among likely voters in the Baldwin Wallace University survey out Wednesday.
Pollsters also found Clinton’s advantage grows in a head-to-head matchup with Trump in the Buckeye State.
Forty-eight percent back Clinton in that scenario, versus 38 percent supporting Trump.
Baldwin Wallace University questioned 1,152 likely voters from Oct. 9 to 11. Its survey has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
Wednesday’s results follow the emergence of a controversial recording of Trump making lewd comments about women in 2005. In the tape, the GOP nominee can be heard discussing his failed sexual advances on a married woman and groping women by their genitals without consent.
Clinton’s lead in both national and state polls is slowly increasing following the uproar over his comments.
A CBS News/YouGov survey released Sunday found Clinton leading Trump by 4 points in the Buckeye State.
The former secretary of State leads Trump in Ohio by 1 point and nationwide by about 6 points, according to the latest RealClearPolitics averages of polls.
