Alright, I just watched the new Netflix movie "Siege of Jadotville". Basically, the Irish UN soldiers hold Jadotville for five days against the Katanga Gendarmerie and French Foreign Legion. At one point near the beginning, the Irish and French commanders meet in a bar over a bottle of cognac.
French Commander: Do you have a plan?
Irish Commander: Just to pray that there's no need for us. Because no plan survives contact with the enemy.
French Commander: That's a Rommel saying.
No, it's a Von Moltke the Elder saying.
French Commander: I never liked Rommel.
Round of applause to our brave Victor!
Irish Commander: Not many Frenchmen like German tacticians.

Irish Commander: It only took them two weeks to take over the entire country.
Six weeks. To be precise, 47 days.
French Commander: [Long Pause] You work your men too hard, I think.
It's worth noting in the end, the Irish commander surrendered to the French commander's poorly trained African hordes after running out of supplies. St. Rommel bless!
