"Isolation is the gift" - I often remember this line from a Bukowski poem. Only if we break out from the distractions and petty values of society are we free to contemplate higher things. Only with some distance from society do we get the space to come closer to a better understanding of the true value of things - which is not a lot in most cases.
Remember this when your boredom or loneliness tempts you to return to human interaction: Your isolation is a great gift. It brings you closer to the wonders of the universe.
