(WLUK) -- In a series of tweets Tuesday morning, Donald Trump continued to criticize House Speaker Paul Ryan and then said "the shackles have been taken off" the Republican presidential nominee.

On Monday, Ryan said he would not campaign with Trump in the four weeks before Election Day. Ryan did not pull his endorsement of Trump.

Ryan and Trump have had a tumultuous relationship throughout Trump's rise to the Republican presidential nomination.

The two were supposed to make their first joint campaign appearance in Wisconsin Saturday, but Ryan said Trump would no longer attend after an 11-year-old recording of Trump was released where he describes kissing and groping women.

Tuesday morning on Good Day Wisconsin, Ben Carson said the video is getting "way too much attention."
