The Facts:
Donald Trump was sleeping with Marla Maples (possibly four) years before he divorced his first wife, Ivana Trump. He ultimately divorced Ivana Trump and married Marla Maples. He then stayed married to Marla for three and a half years before divorcing her. This relationship was highly publicized. Donald Trump, Ivana Trump, and Marla Maples do not deny that the cheating occurred.
Donald Trump has not expressed remorse for creating a love triangle or cheating on his ex wife.
Additionally, Trump has a reputation of womanizing. He has commented many times that he has cheated or treats woman like objects of his pleasure.

The Commentary:
There is not a lot here to say. Donald Trump had an affair while he was married. He continued the affair for multiple years and made a spectacle of it.
Trump doesn’t necessarily have an excuse or reason for his affair. To him, if he could do it again today, he’d do it again. He liked having a wife and a mistress. He hasn’t apologized for his indiscretions. To him, his wife was not serving him well, so he was completely reasonable to cheat on her.
The next part about the affair is that Trump turned his relationship into a spectacle, which is highly disrespectful to his family and wife. It shows how immature Trump is.
It is low behavior. This the type of behavior that you’d expect to see in a high school, not a respectful presidential contender.
