Hey, if they actually enjoy the game, more power to them, I've got a couple video game tattoos.

I just hope they all waited until after they'd played the game, but given the tone or the post, I'm guessing no one did.

I've always wanted a space themed sleeve anyway, and I just used some elements of NMS to help make it a little more personal. Still a work in progress, but the purple one is my home planet, and I threw in an atlas station because they look cool as fuck. It's my favorite tattoo thus far and like my other tattoos, I do not regret a damn thing. Judge me.

As for the tattoo, it's thankfully more space than NMS.

I have to say, I would judge someone so much more for a WoW tattoo than a NMS one. An endless universe of discovery and beauty.. even if the game didn't really get there, I understand the attraction to the image and concept. But then I'm also one of the people who just does not relate to everyone demanding multiplayer in NMS.

I guess it comes down to this: I don't see video game tattoos as gang signs. They aren't allegiance. They're just an image you like or connect to, whether you loved the game play or not.

To be honest, if you just got a tattoo of the Atlas design you could easily pass it off as something else. The design itself is pretty nice.

NB: I do not have a NMS tattoo, before anyone suggests it!
