This isn't a sub for discussion and thought out responses, you're probably just going to get a lot of sarcasm and get banned.

I don't feel like writing out a long response, I will say this much, though. You spend enough time on reddit reading edgy jokes, if you pay attention to the trends and the people that tend to be the butt of the joke, who the jokes are laughing at, not with, and its pretty clear that they're reflective of larger actually damaging biases (and theres a lot of evidence that jokes reinforce biases too for that matter).

You can put your head in the sand and say "hey they're just jokes, you can joke about anything" but its pretty clear if you pay attention that reddit does not joke about anything, just some things, and the popularity of jokes sways in very particular ways.

I don't think victimizing, mocking, or shaming people for the sake of a "joke" is funny, personally. Especially when those jokes transcend humor and become actual opinions people have of others. And why would I care if you guys think I'm a stereotype? Who am I, or anyone, actually dehumanizing?

Like /u/moon_physics said, they're always the same old degradations of the same groups. Over and over and over.
