The 2016/2017 is a season filled with hope and expectation for the Red Devils after a blockbuster summer transfer window. Whether or not they have so far lived up to the exceeding expectations set by the English media and fans, the wheels are most definitely set in motion for big changes at Old Trafford this season. Two months into the new season and United currently sit 6th in the Premier League and 3rd in their Europa League group.

Having kicked off August with a Community Shield win against last season’s champions, United ended August with a 100% win rate.

September however began terribly, with three losses in succession. This was a first for United manager Mourinho with his last three-in-a-row loss occurring fourteen years ago, back in 2002 with Porto. United however recovered their form to end September with three wins.
