Clinton did well, but so did Trump. But when Trump said he and his running mate have no communication might be an issue.

Now that I've seen it, I think it temporarily helps Trump because it takes people's minds off the tapes for a moment. But I don't think it helps him for more than 3 days.

I fully expect to get downvoted, Trump held his own. He might not have moved the needle enough to win, but I would not doubt if he gets a bump and all the hemorrhaging of support stops.

I respectfully disagree, but hopefully you don't get downvoted for your opinion, I thought he came off a little desperate to get out some talking points.

I can understand them both ducking and weaving about the scandal questions, but he had no substance for a lot of questions Hillary had a clear answer to, particularly the Aleppo question. Trump spoke in platitudes, while Hillary had specific plans.

I think he was also guilty of the John McCain "wandering in the background" when the other person was answering the question.
