The Facts:
The story starts when a writer, Timothy L. O’Brien decided he wanted to write a book on Donald Trump called TrumpNation: The Art of Being the Donald. In the book, Timothy wrote about the Trump experience. Who he is and what he is all about. Most importantly, he talked about Trump’s money. According to Timothy (and his sources), Trump isn’t a Billionaire. Maybe worth a few hundred Million, and that gets under Trump’s skin.
Trump sued Timothy in a case Trump v. Timothy L. O’Brien. Trump sued him for $5 Billion dollars for ruining his Trump’s reputation.
Timothy hired some good lawyers and they deposed Donald Trump. They used this opportunity to see how often Trump lied. They did this by asking Trump question that they knew the answers to. They caught Trump embellished the truth 30 times. The case was eventually dismissed.

The Commentary:
Politicians lie, bend the rules, take credit for every success, and blame others for failures. We all know politicians do it. However, most politicians try to be partially truthful. This is not true with Donald Trump.
When a normal person goes on the stand, puts their hand up and swears under oath that they are telling the truth, it puts a little fear into them. They think about getting caught telling a lie under oath and going to jail. It puts a little fear into them.
Donald Trump is not a normal person. He isn’t even close. And that comes out when Trump was on the stand. He embellishes the truth and tells his own story about who he is.
If you have been watching Donald Trump, he has spoken outright lies about minimal things. It’s part of who he is. He’ll lie about anything, anywhere, anytime to bolster his own case at that moment. He is not someone you can trust.
