Now, I am as skeptical of cryptocurrecies as it comes, there's too much scams, I don't like the crowd it attracts and it's an incredible environmental waste.
However, with potential future president Donald Trump's plan to build a wall with Mexico and fund it with heavy taxing on money transfers between the two countries, could cryptocurrecies be used as a viable way for migrants to send money back home tax free? It's not as if they're going to get more illegal, tho it will suck for legal immigrants.
I know people can get tech savvy real quick when the stakes are high enough, but could the barrier of entry be too high for mass adoption and the potential for preying on a new misinformed market by scammers be too high?
Could the network even cope with the added demand? Is there another viable alternative to circumvent those heavy taxes?
