Billy Bush's voicemail would likely make Donald Trump happy.
A call to Bush's extension at NBC reveals the following message, which appears to be a voice that is not Bush's.
"You've reached Billy Bush's office, he's busy making America great again, please leave a message."
Bush is now embroiled in controversy as an unearthed tape from a 2005 "Access Hollywood" taping has Bush and Trump engaging in a conversation about women that has been widely decried as offensive and condoning sexual harassment and assault.
Most of the worst lines in the recording are spoken by Trump, but Bush does engage in ogling women, and then moments after Trump brags about grabbing women "by the pussy" and explains that he can't control himself around some women, encourages a female actress to give Trump a hug.
We've reached out to NBC to ask when this voicemail recording was made and whether they have any comment on it.
