I know a clinical psychologist, she's 50, works in NYC, is in the middle of her own divorce and, curiously, currently on the online dating circuit. She mentioned that most of her clients are women in the 20's and their chief complaint/concern/fear isn't just relationship woes with their BFs, but instead not marrying up to the stratosphere - unattainable men of status, CEOs, millionaires, etc. She councils them to give that fantasy up, and most who hear this don't come back. I asked her what she thought of modern feminism. Her answer was this: feminism has basically ruined the fundamental nature of M-F relationships by effectively depolarizing the natural biology of gender. Perhaps not surprising to readers of this sub, but I was surprised to hear it from a woman with a larger-than-normal "clinical" sampling. Really confirms for me that women adopt this bs frame very early and are thus unworthy of male investment beyond P&D.
