I have no idea. It doesn't really matter to me what someone says or does in their personal life be it 10 minutes or 10 years ago. If he had said it to a foreign diplomat or leader, or live on air i would have a problem with it. I don't know if this one issue is gonna have that much of an impact or if it will disappear after a news cycle or two like almost every story does. Now that we have 24 hour news and information coming from every direction, stories have to be sensational or people won't watch. It's just an argument that does nothing for anyone except the people yelling at each other on news. They're the ones that perpetuate this shit instead of talking about issues that the next president will be facing. They should be talking about our economy, our shitty education systems, how many countries we may invade, making sure our lame ass congress can pass a fucking budget on time, not letting banks launder money for foreign criminals and letting it slide because they're too important to follow the laws, or if either one of them can effectively converse and cooperate with the other leaders of the world, particularly middle eastern and asian countries without being assholes and alienating them more, lessening the dependence of buying oil from countries that use proceeds to finance attacks against us. There are so many important things that could fill their airtime, but Trump saying some dumb shit or speculating what designer's outfits Clinton is going to wear. are too gossipy and partisan for them to argue about. These newscasters are treating these things like they're writing a tabloid and acting like whoever yells the loudest is right. The pretend the candidates are infallible and should have never done a single thing wrong in their lives and then grab up all the low hanging fruit so they can argue about on air. It allows them to avoid doing actual investigative work and providing facts about real issues instead of airing personal gripes they have with the opposing party.
