AMA with Foregen's Spokesman (self.MGTOW)

Hi Everyone!

One of the topics that is posted about in men’s rights is circumcision, because of the myriad of negative effects it causes in a man’s sex life and how it is also performed without the baby’s consent.

Some of you may have also heard of Foregen, a non-for-profit organization seeking to use stem cell technology to regenerate 100% of the foreskin’s structures and reverse circumcision. If you’re curious in learning more about them we have a great opportunity.

I received confirmation from Eric Clopper, Foregen’s Spokesman, that he's more than happy to do an AMA for us. This will be taking place on Sunday October 9th, from 1-3pm EST/EDT on Foregen’s subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Foregen/. I feel this is an issue that falls well within what MGTOW is about. It’s about men being able to make decisions for themselves and have autonomy in their lives. Foregen can help give men back what was taken from them without their permission.

Most circumcised men don't understand what they lost because they never really had it. The forekin contains 20 thousand nerve endings that are solely placed to give more pleasure to the penis and on top of that the foreskin covers the glans to keep it protected.

When it is removed not only do you lose the nerve endings (huge pleasure reduction), but also the glans is left unprotected and it starts to keratinize. The body will start forming tissue on top of the glans to protect it, which will hide the nerve endings in the glans and make it harder to receive pleasure. You can easily see that if you compare a circumcised glans and an intact one. The intact one will look shiny, but the other wouldn't.

It's about time we stop them from hindering our sexuality and pleasure.

Good post. And for reference, the clitoris only has 8,000 nerve endings, much less than the 20,000 in the prepuce (foreskin). So, contrary to widely held popular belief, male circumcision actually reduces sexual sensation and pleasure much more than female circumcision.

Foreskin in Animals and biology and evolution:

There are roughly 5400 different animal species (all mammals, except the monotremes which still have a cloaca instead and an internal penis, they are the one of earliest mammals) where the males have a foreskin and these animals do not have problems living with it and reproducing even in much dirtier and more dangerous environments with higher chances of infections. 70% of the worlds population of human males have an intact natural penis (uncircumcised) and have no problem in living long and reproducing and also finding their soulmate. Mammals with foreskin exist for million of years and have no problem with their penis and with reproduction and survival.

There is a genetic defect very rarely in humans where there is almost no foreskin it is called aposthia. As aposthia never took over in the humans in evolutionary biology we can conduct that the foreskin has been a necessity for the last 200000 years for us humans and the prevalance still in all mammals till this time for 100 millions of years at least strongly speaks for the necessity and preservance of the foreskin and proves it. I'm personally happy to hear that you are happy with your penis. The sad fact is that many, many men are not.

There are not dotted lines for the doctor to cut on. Outcomes range wildly when performed on infants. 2% of men end up with serious long term complications like penoscrotal webbing, painful erections, or skin bridges.

Even though you personally don't want your prepuce restored, I ask that for the sake of men that do you support Foregen. Our goal is to give back men the right to choose what is done to their bodies.
