Can our dropped points this season be partially blamed on luck.. or lack of. [Kind of shitposting] (self.reddevils)

If you go through the games that we dropped points there are some key moments within those games, that with a bit of luck could've completed changed the game.

Man City - Bravo could've gotten a red/penalty awarded..

Feyenoord - Their goal was offside

Watford - Martial incident + Pogba hitting the bar

Stoke - Well, Lee Grant / Pogba hitting the bar again

It's frustrating :(

We had bad luck in the goals we conceded. This can't be an excuse, tho. It is just unacceptrable to score a total of 2 goals in the games against Watford, Feyenoord and Stoke.

Yes we were very unlucky, but we shouldn't have put ourselves in situations that luck would affect us. Like the goal Leicester scored, very lucky but didn't matter because we were 4-0 up.

To a certain extent it was luck. But I think a good side will always make their own luck. We could use a lucky charm though- someone like Ruud, Ole or Javier Hernandez

It can be put down to that yeah but remember that luck evens itself out over the course of a season. Sucks for cup tournaments but usually not too big a problem for the league.

I think we've been on the wrong side of luck this season but also the team wasn't gelling we just didn't have the right balance.

I was starting to worry until the Leicester game and then you could see as good of a job Fellaini was doing he and Rooney were really restricting us offensively.

Even though we drew 1-1 with Stoke we could of been 4 or 5-1 easily - again just like you said we were unlucky.
