I got banned from MGTOW for posting an article about Grace Hopper

Imma now add that admirable human being to my list of favorite humans that have achieved wonderful accomplishments.

She truly is one of the most fascinating people in history to me. In the few documentries I have seen about her, you can tell she was a wonderful person as well.

lol...did anyone respond to it? If they were legitimately angry over stupid and cruel women they would LOVE Grace Hopper......but no...they want to pretend she doesn't exist.

The response was a link about "the exception that proves the rule" and before I could respond with an article about confirmation bias I was banned.

Man, poor babies can't handle even a single example that doesn't fit into their convoluted world view.

Newsflash, MGTOW: Ignoring women who accomplish shit doesn't make them go away. And they will become more and more common as feminism does its work.

as feminism does its work.

Hold up. You're telling me one of the the purposes of feminism is help women get the recognition they deserve?

Fucking hell. I thought it was just to falsely accuse men of rape until they all decide to go their own way and society collapses. You're telling me the end game of feminism isn't the complete destruction of civilization as we know it?

Dammit. Somebody has some mansplainin' to do!

What has no woman done? Walk into a saloon with a hatchet and smash all the beer kegs in it. What did she do? Exactly that.

But why? It may have taken balls to do, but why did she have to take it out on the beer? Beer never said a bad word about her. Beer is noble. Beer is proud. Beer is...

Goddamn. I could really go for a beer right now.

Just comparing my ex and I, he was more AWALTy than I'll ever be.

He was sheltered, dependent and not very adventurous, where I had a lot of hard life experiences, took care of myself and paid rent and paid for my own college from age 18, and have had all kinds of crazy cool adventures.

Also by any traditional measurement of intelligence (grades, standardized testing), I was smarter than him too.

He seemed to readily admit these things in person but secretly he was into red pill, soooo....yeah I don't get it.

Billie "Rose Tyler" Piper was married to a richer man, and when they divorced, she refused to take any of his money because she felt it would be "disgusting."

Sue Aikens manages a hunting camp Arctic, living there alone over the winter. One year, while collecting water from the river, she was mauled by a bear. She dragged herself back to camp, stitched up her torn head and arm, strapped her dislocated hips back into place, went back to the river, killed the bear, went back to camp (dragging herself by her arms when her hips popped back out), and waited ten days for help to come.

Maria Goeppert Mayer

One of my heroines. Genius who STEM-ed all fucking day long, despite facing an enormous amount of sexism in the shadow of her less-brilliant chemist husband. She did much of her work as an unpaid lab assistant, just for the love of science.

When she won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1963, the local paper announced it with the headline "San Diego Mother Wins Nobel Prize."

You've come a long way, baby.
