米国内で行われた正確性検証の結果、MCIと健常な老化現象からくる認知機能の低下を97.3％の高精度で判別することが確認されました。日本語版の開発に際しては言語学者も介入し、テストの等価性が保たれるよう配慮されました。
日本語版の精度検証は福岡大学山田医師グループにて行われ、英語版同等の96％の感度が確認され、日米両国で文献発表されています。
