Swastika found on Lee County mailbox
Vandalism occured on the Jewish new year
An Estero woman found a swastika and comments about Donald Trump tagged on her mailbox.
A Swastika, along with GOP Presidential nominee Donald Trump's name were scrawled on a mailbox near the intersection of Wild Cat Road and State Road 82.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Residents in an east Lee County neighborhood are on edge after a swastika was scrawled on a mailbox.
"A swastika on a Jewish holiday? It's terrible, especially associated with a politician," said Karen Breen.
She found the graffiti Monday morning, which happens to be Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. The swastika appeared above Donald Trump's name, on a bank of mailboxes at the intersection of State Road 82 and Wildcat Road.
The graffiti had been washed away by late afternoon, but Breen is still angry.
"It makes me sad for my neighborhood, whether it's somebody in our neighborhood, or somebody that thinks its appropriate to put in our neighborhood makes me sad."
Breen says these mailboxes have been vandalized before, but not like this.
She suspects this all started from a Facebook conversation about improving the road through the community, that turned racial.
"I don't believe that we are a racist community, but it shows that there is a conversation to be had that maybe there is something underlying."
Breen says she's contacted the Postmaster General and the Lee County Sheriff's Office about the swastika, but has yet to hear from them.
