When I made my first deposit into my retirement account, I remembered that United is publicly traded, so I bought one share for the hell of it. Since then, every year I buy one more stock basically as a tradition. Tonight I looked at my account, saw my handful of shares, and realized that I've pretty much never heard or seen someone bring up United's stock, on here or with any of my friends who are also United fans.

So I'm just wondering, does anyone here own any? If you do, any reason why? If you don't, does something about actually owning stock seem negative to you, or had you just never considered it?
