Hey guys. I recently came across a documentary called 'Status Anxiety' by Alain de Botton.
Strongly recommend you all watch it. YMMV as to what you get out of it, but I do intuitively believe that the pursuit of women, for men, is intrinsically entwined with how men perceive their status in society. Call it what you will - gynocentric programming, cultural conditioning etc.
Sometimes, MGTOW go through self-doubt because they're rejecting societal norms. This documentary would offer some perspective.
Cheers! I also recommend the 6 part series on happiness by de Botton. He taps into the wisdom of 6 great philosophers so that we may lead better, happier lives.
