There seems to be two main schools of thought within MGTOW regarding the future of our nations, and particularly the western nations. While there are some who believe the nations will continue on as they are and without interruption, others see enormous societal decline coming towards us at breakneck speed. The latter belief entails that a societal decline would occur whereby nations will fall amid total chaos and anarchy, and this belief is the topic of this essay.
We’ve all heard the term of when the ‘Sh_t Hits The Fan’, which of course entails a moment when societies collapse, services have gone, production and industries have stopped, law and order are gone, a high probability of conflict is present, and it’s everyone for themselves as they try to survive.
Should a SHTF scenario occur, what then should the position of MGTOW then be?
MGTOW In A SHTF Scenario
There are some within and without of MGTOW who say that they will not help or assist anyone at all should such a SHTF event occur. That they will look after themselves alone and walk past every act of hostility, and leave everyone else to fend for themselves. Which to a degree is understandable enough in a time of great chaos when people may be fighting each other and resources needed to survive are scarce. Each persons own and their family’s safety is paramount.
Lets ponder the SHTF event a little further.
First, what goes around, comes around, we can each expect back what we give out. If we assist no-one in their times of greatest need, even if their lives are at high risk, we must also expect everyone else to do the same to us if we are in danger. Besides, those who ‘have’ in these times will become targets by those who ‘have not’ and who are fighting for their survival. Obviously not everyone can be helped, less we risk our own selves, but there will be allowances that need to be made when those times prevail.
How long would a SHTF scenario go on for? Would it be a month, 3 months, 3 years? If such a catastrophe did occur, there would obviously be an initial time of the greatest chaos, followed by a much longer time of lesser chaos. While some will outlast the initial and largest onset of disruption, they will soon find themselves in a situation where they will need to think for the long term of however long the SHTF goes on for.
And no man is an island.
No man can survive for long periods of time alone.
Every man will need outside resources or the help or supply from others.
Therefore we can see that each man will need to work with others, and trade with others.
So when we all think of these SHTF scenarios, we must realize that we and others cannot survive alone for long periods of time. And a very good analysis for this is The Walking Dead TV series. Where first there are individuals and very small groups just trying to get through the initial day to day hazards after a SHTF, and then larger groups need to be assembled, safety and supply of resources need to be put into place for ongoing survival, there will be conflict amongst groups, and then as the nature of mankind is what it is, some will seek dominance over others.
This is of course the ‘End Of The World As We Know It’ (EOTWAWKI) event we’ve all heard of.
So what’s this got to do with MGTOW?
MGTOW and EOTWAWKI
Going back to the beginning of this essay, we are questioning the idea amongst some MGTOW that they will each go their own way, protect no-one, be an island unto themselves, and be MGTOW forever.
In the scenario outlined thus far, we should all be able to see that this is highly unlikely. People will need each other for survival in longer periods of time, and past the initial events of SHTF.
And needless to say, that MGTOW will mean absolutely nothing in these times, not even a MGHOW will consider it, past perhaps their own first responses of trying to stay as independent as they possibly can. Which of course makes sense, but is not sustainable over the longer term, whereby people will need to depend on each other, and new communities will be built.
And for any MGHOW, with all the presently corrupted systems of law gone, then new opportunities lay before them to help build and guide those new communities based on common sense. With all the stupidity of the past laws swept away. And in such a scenario, whereby men are once again restored to their place as leaders, and in any micro-society which is correctly functioning again, what need for MGTOW? There is none, past the first individual survival stages of SHTF.
And it’s fair to say, there won’t be any feminists during an apocalypse. Every single woman will be reliant on men for their very survival, and both sexes will quickly find that their only possible way to survive and thrive in trust and peace is the return to traditional inter-relationships between men and women in all respects. None of todays nonsense will work at all in such communities.
Neither will a MGHOW or a Ghost be anywhere welcomed in such micro-communities who are eking out daily survival.
Both men and women will need to step up to do their individual duties.
Well those were some thoughts for the MGTOW community to also add another voice to considerations of what our own responses and behaviors would be in any SHTF and EOTWAWKI events. A little bit of dystopian sci-fi to add to the discussion.
