I recently took a driver's license exam at the DVLA. I did everything pin point and thought I would surely pass. The examiner looked at his sheets for nearly 20 minutes after I finished and then failed me because I was too "hesitant" at a roundabout. What a load of crap.
A week on from that our company laid out some engineers due to continued sustained losses because the oil industry has gone to shit and I was one of them (all men), not one woman was fired from say HR/Marketing/Finance, as if they do anything important anyway besides talking trash all day and taking breaks every now and then. Same week, I head into a bank to do some transactions, all the cashiers at the front desk were women, not a single guy in sight and I stayed there for nearly 30 minutes paying attention, at that point I was starting to fume.
Same day I head home to get some tips about passing my driver's license and I see a video of a government driving license examiner explaining how he has given hints to a young lady taking the exam to look at her blind spot (coughing and leaning left). A clear no no in the government's eyes.
I very much doubt he would've helped a fellow man, only women get such preferential treatment. Either way, I'm thinking of reporting it to the feds as he's clearly incriminating himself (gender bias or not).
