A buddy since childhood went to college with me, to make a long story short he was in a relationship with this crazy girl and she accused him of rape 11 years ago, it was because he broke up with her. Luckily there was a case at school and he wasn't expelled. Unfortunately he works near the area he went to school and people give him the coldest looks. He wants to move elsewhere. Though he wants to speak with a therapist to help him deal with this issue. I understand that Therapists have confidentiality agreements but if he mentions the accusation, will the therapist contact authorities? Also I remember after his case hearing with the school, they said that they would destroy the documents of the case afterwards. Is there still a chance he can contact them to ask if they have it in archives?
