3,475 plate artists for 1 year!
We love to see great content flowing, whether that be from a master of the arts culinarian. Or a new line cook learning to design a culinary perfection in their spare time... That's right, we're open to all skill levels of the culinary plating experience :D.
Even better, we recently added some cool flairs to help with your browsing experience They are going to be used mainly to let other subscribers understand what you're looking for in your post via link flairs as well as user flairs. They range from new, to expert. And our link flairs consist of discussion, help, question, suggestion, advice, other, critique, and showcase. But we're always open to adding more or editing existing ones. Now lastly, we added a feature to allow you to filter the posts via a flair. This is all done in the bottom of our sidebar.
Now as aforementioned, we do strive to be a discussion form of a community, to keep with that theme we have implemented a live chat feature in our tabs menu (above the content area). Inside the community tab we hold the link to our orangechat and you're more than welcome to come and hang out with anyone online there ;D This is used as a fun communication method ontop of self and link posts.
One of our newest features we have added is the recently named Assiette du mois.
Otherwise know as "Plate of the Month" in english.
The way this works: In the last week of each month you the subscribers are asked to submits a photo as a link within a comment post. The link should be of a plate you created. It may be a repost however, as long as its your own. We then take the comment with the most points as our next month's winner.
We have done this for the last month (August) and our winner was crowned with their own custom flair as well as their image became our themes current banner for all to see! The winning post
We very much hope to see you join us. But most of all we hope to be able to better your plating experiences with the help we can provide!
I want to send you off by letting you all know that you can learn, and you can improve. Here are some of the examples of people improving with the help of critiques and discussions across our subreddit:
I can't stress enough about how much you can improve by just browsing our subreddit for inspiration. I'm sure you will be amazed by the beauty being crafted all around you!
Thanks for your time to read our post!
