I'm probably going to get slaughtered for this but I'd go with Van Gaal. We've got a lot of young players who seem to really take to Van Gaals methods in comparison to the older generation and we play boring football anyway so England fans won't really have to adapt to watch it.

Look at the players we've got. They would be pretty decent in a Van Gaal system. Really good full backs, Stones is good on the ball and Smalling looked brilliant for LVG. Kane is an ideal striker for Van Gaals system as he's pretty clinical (not always but 2 20+ goal seasons at the age of 23 is pretty good if you ask me). Then you've got the likes of Sterling/Rashford/Chamberlain who are all pretty used to a possession system.

Butland, Shaw, Clyne, Smalling, Stones, Dier, Wilshere, Alli, Kane, Sterling, Rashford, Chamberlain are all still fairly young and I think can really learn his methods.

Go for another dutchman, Danny Blind.

Please

Please just take him!

I know it's his own fault and all that, but I kinda feel sorry for him, he seemed so happy to be there!

Which makes it all the more ridiculous for me, why fuck up your dream job for a fraction of what you make in a year? I get that £400,000 is a lot of dosh but the brazen balls the man has is incredible.

Was it not before he was given the job?

[–]jesusindisguiseeDe Gea 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

I think it was after he got the job but before his first game? Not 100% on that though

I found the whole ordeal pretty fun. Big sham up to his shenanigans. You can't fault his 100% record though, looks like Lallana will go down in folklore

I dont care about the 400k as much as I care about him discussing all the shady things he does to get around rules. Specifically the even more shady world of third party ownership. Classless to teach others how to do this, much less allow it

Take Klinsmann from us please!

If you take Klinsmann, I doubt Rooney would be played, let alone, as a captain

we should've just let him continue to manage England, watch us get some shit manager next... i dunno who id like to manage England tbh. Rooney shouldnt comment on it as hes just gonna say something generic like he always does. as for the jokes.. i dunno lol.

I think Guus Hiddink, or a renowned international coach should take charge. (Not that I care)

The pool of English managers is just pathetic.

Feel a bit sorry for him, but it was entirely his own fault. You really could tell how much the job meant to him so its a shame that its ended this way. However, for a man with so much apparent experience he showed a remarkable amount of naivety!

People see an opinion that is against the norm and down vote it to the abyss because they don't like it... Funny thing is... They almost never give you a reason or contribute to the discussion.
