This is just a quick break down of what I see as the total number of arguably "desirable" women in the U.S. and it is a good reason for non-mgtow guys to consider going mgtow like I am contemplating...
There 75.3 million millennials total in the U.S. using the typical 18 to 34 age group defined as millennials. As I see it, you cannot argue that women older than this age group are desirable so we will use "millennial" statistics.
Assuming a typically even gender divide, we would have
37.65 million males
and
37.65 million females
According to http://statusofwomendata.org/millennials/, 46.5 percent of millennial women are overweight or obese defined as having a bmi of 25 or higher.
Understandably, since I would consider those overweight to be not attractive, we are now at 53.5% of those 37.65 million females left. Therefore, we are now at 20.15 million desirable females in the U.S.
Whites and Hispanics make up 80 percent of the population (these are the women I would theoretically be interested in for reproductive purposes and apparently black men feel the same) so taking 80% of the remaining 20.15 million females we currently have, we are left at 16.12 million desirable females in the U.S.
According to an article by http://www.millennialmarketing.com/2013/07/new-research-the-millennial-generation-becomes-parents/, there are 10,800,000 millennial women with children. Therefore, seeing as how I don't consider women with children desirable, there are now 9.7 million desirable women left in the united states.
Now, are the 9.7 million non-fat, childless 18-34 women all attractive? Certainly not. But, I would wager that all of the attractive women in the U.S. are indeed included in that group.
Of the ones who are attractive, we would need to keep in mind that a certain percentage of them are thin and childless BUT also married (I simply don't know how to divide those demographics but the attractive ones are actually probably more likely to be married). Of the possibly remaining women who are thin, childless, not married AND attractive; these are the women who men (including very rich men) of all ages will be going after. So, you would not just be competing against the single millennial male demographic, you would be competing against all men of all ages and financial standings.
Also, what percentage of these "desirable" women have stds, addictions or are otherwise unworthy of bearing children? Probably at least a few million. Also, I would be willing to bet that the approximately 50 million total single, eligible men in the U.S. are after these same 6-7 million women. Possibly all men are after these women because, in the event of a financial windfall, even married 40 and 50 year old guys would likely divorce there current wives for an attractive woman of child bearing age.
For me, I would count out another 25% of those women (older than 30) (assuming an even age distribution) because I wouldn't want a kid with down syndrome or something from an old mother. Even if we take that 25% out of the thin, childless (but possibly married) women, we are left with 7.25 million women that all men want. If we conservatively, again say that 2 million of those are not attractive, have stds or are meth heads even though they are thin and childless, we are left with 5.25 million women for every single man in America.
Good luck boys. I, however, quit.
Also, if anyone has an object way to subtract from those last few desirable women, please add and cite.
