Neville was ten times better as a leader and even that was a suboptimal situation, Vidic should have been given the role a lot sooner.

Smalling's leadership is immense, unlike Wazza he actually organises the team's shape, keeps bollocking players on the pitch after they've fallen asleep to keep them sharp etc. The last match he had a good scream at Blind for being out of position and Blind was completely focussed and disciplined the rest of the match.

That's actual leadership instead of the bullshit the media pumps out about Wazza.
