Question about our defence. (self.reddevils)

I've been impressed with Will Keane over the past year. Kinda sucks that we let him go last year. With Phil Jones being, you know, Phil Jones; would it make sense to go in for Will Keane or do you think that Axel and Timbo will make good understudies?

Jones is still young ish for a defender, but he's missed many developmental years so we don't know what to expect.

I'll be completely honest, we could do with another solid defender though, you can never have too many.

I think a lot depends on if Tuanzebe gets a shot to play this year (due to injuries or otherwise). If he impresses we might not bring anyone else in. Same with Regan Poole.

Nah. Think it's pretty clear Rojo is out of the doors in the summer. But I reckon Jones will stay, as he still can turn it around. Since we now possess fantastic CB's in Bailly, Smalling & Blind, and have TFM and Tuanzebe rising, it looks like we're pleased at the moment. When Rojo is gone, and if Jones will move on, Jose will just bring in another 22-25 year old proven CB since he'll be keen on deveoloping Tuanzebe/TFM even further.
