I am concerned. Trump may crash the economy, which would cause widespread unrest. And as has happened throughout history, whenever the economy gets bad enough, people blame the Jews.

I'm trying not to put quite so much stock in this debate alone. It's hard to say how many people's minds will actually be changed by this debate, or by all of the debates -- likely only a small percentage of undecided voters. This year, though, there's the added factor of so many Johnson/Stein voters who have the potential to swing one way or the other.

I'd also remind people that Obama lost the first debate to Romney in 2012, and Obama still won. Granted, he had the huge advantage of being an incumbent, but still.

Try not to be terrified. The debate tonight is entirely outside of your control. If Trump should be leading in the polls in the run-up to Election Day itself.... Well, that might be the time to worry.

P.S. I'm not so far down the rabbit-hole as to think the polls are "rigged", but I do think that the media plays a heavy role in shaping public perception in such a way that keeps the race tight. I don't think it's an accident that the numbers are so close on debate day; what better way to increase ratings? Call me crazy. But again -- let's wait and see what actually happens.

I feel if Donald wins, it's a win for idiocy, racism, ignorance, intolerance and most importantly, the_donald.

I'm not going to watch the debate. It's going to be Hillary getting berated for everything she's done since she was 11 and Trump is going to lie his ass off and get away with while the moderator throws him softballs. I wish it would be different, but given what's been happening the last couple months it would be ignorant to think it would go any other way. I know who I'm voting for in November. No debate is going to change that.

We can't be the group that gets caught up in the fear. Fear mongering is not our forte, and reality usually falls between best and worse. So, no, kind of unfortunately, we don't get to panic or relax after the debate. This climate is going to persist exactly, straight through to election day. Think about, as polarizing as this election has been this debate matters almost not at all. Hillary can slam Trump with facts, back him into a corner on scandals, try to pin down his policy claims, and we'll say she won. Trump can dodge, lie, bait, and generally frustrate Clinton into trying to retort off the cuff and then fall back on his well established rhetoric and they'll say he won. Both those things will happen, I'm sure of it.

Then do something. Go knock on doors, make phone calls, register new voters. Cowering in fear let's the fascists win.
