i had a tactical analysis about our off the ball movement few days ago, and i was impressed by how different out team became in terms of distance covered and off the ball movements.

Everyone in the team increased their distance coverage and was more effective off the ball than our previous games.. for example..

Zlatan made great runs followed by Pog's chip and others' through balls and etc.

Lingard made so many runs, which is a very positive thing to see. They weren't all successful, but that's how a team gets to the top. ex. Barca: see how many runs they make whether they are successful or not. It's crazy.

Blind had so many great passes and crosses. and kept overlapping while having mahrez in his back pocket

Our one two- touches and passes have improved and our Gunner esque tikitaka resulted in mata's beautiful goal (not to mention lingard's flick here)

i saw players being more active and more mobile - which may be a coincidence or was meant to happen as fella and rooney the two players who dont generally move around much were not present in the game.

Overall, it was a great game to watch. Probably the best first half we've had since Fergie left.
