This is a great opportunity to own the best of the best! A true 1951 Crosley Super convertible. with a very reasonable "Buy it Now" price. A wonderful museum quality automobile and no expense spared restoration performed around 15 years ago. The upgraded Super models came with extra trim and air vents. Less than 351 total were made in 1951. This beautiful Crosley convertible is a favorite within our private Chicago collection. A complete frame off restoration and it is in Original Survivor condition. Completely rebuilt original 44 CID. 26. 5 HP motor and drive train. with only 425 driven miles at the time of this writing and subsequent to the complete restoration process. Incredibly. it is the first American car to ever have true disc brakes. Great mechanicals! The convertible never had any body issues The body is laser straight. with the original Crosley Ocean foam green paint . Boasting the original Crosley radio and hood bird ornament as rare Crosley options.. 40-50 miles per gallon! Tires are new. Deluxe hubcaps and beauty rings. . All glass is in excellent condition. seats excellent as well. Brakes are new. Dash looks great! The undercarriage is detailed and very clean.. The canvas top is original with a clear rear window. The interior Wooden rails were refinished and look absolutely wonderful as well. I can't tell you how much fun the Crosley Super convertible is to drive. whether the top is up or down. just plain driving fun!
