Well I am for government controlled healthcare, specifically single payer (I don't get that with Hillary, but she isn't going to ax the progress I think we've made.) A healthy country is a productive country. I support strict gun control laws while keeping guns legal for all law abiding citizens. I think anyone who is legally allowed to own a gun should own a gun, but I want very tight background checks. I support welfare programs like social security. I believe it needs to be controlled by the government and not privatized. If it is privatized, that means we would be paying into private businesses and I do not agree with that. My investment into my future welfare, as well as yours and all of ours, should not be controlled by a corporation. I support immigration from Mexico and the Middle East. I believe the best way to fight radicalism is by allowing innocent people a safe place to live and grow and learn and become responsible adults. Crime stems from a lack of education and ignorance, which is a serious problem in many parts of the middle east. By rejecting and pushing people away, we are feeding them into a life of crime and ignorance. I would be fine with a stricter process of vetting immigrants if it makes people feel more comfortable, although we've done a good job so far.
