Reddit has seen a massive shift toward viewing Conservatism/Libertarianism/alt-right in a positive light. Because more right wing viewpoints are the new punk rock. Milo Yiannopoulos realizes this and highlights it in his college tour. Harambe, 4chan, etc have all come together to create a new counter-culture. A song called "Dicks out for Harambe" which basically mocks social justice warriors and includes references to Breitbart writer Milo Yiannopoulos has been #1 on the USA viral charts for a week now.

The right wing IS the new cool. It's dissident, mischievous on college campuses, and it's changing this election. Young men, especially white young men, are pushing back hard at this BS on campuses.
