College just started and I'm already starting to feel overwhelmed. Just wrapped up an internship in Singapore and I'm already missing it. Be sure to check out the United bar if you happen to be there, great atmosphere and (relatively) cheap drinks.

I spent slightly under 2 years of my teenage life in Singapore. Beautiful country. It was ridiculously clean and the food was brilliant. Loved their airport too. It was heaven compared to Luton airport.

Planning to definitely visit again when I get the chance. Not that it would have particularly helped me in my time there, but it's good to know that there's a United bar there!

drinks are not cheap in Singapore sadly, the government taxes heavily on vices such as tobacco and alcohol

Talk to people - whether it be friends, family or even a professional.

Keep busy - nothing will feed anxiety and depression like idle time. I'm watching a lot of Bob Ross on Netflix and YouTube - I'd love to paint along, but even listening to him is good for the mind and soul. Perhaps you would consider taking up painting? Or an instrument?

Most importantly, try be involved in activities with other people - football, gym classes, whatever. Too much time in solitude isn't good.

Keep talking to people about this. Those close to you, friends family etc. You'll be surprised how many people suffer from it like you and it's often really powerful to talk openly with someone feeling the same.

When I'm having a bad day, I think to myself "maybe it will, maybe it won't". You can't control everything, so don't try. What you can control to some extent is your response.

We really need to avoid all the negativity and stand by the team and the manager. There's still work to be done - we were foolish to think all our problems would just disappear.
