1984 Mustang GT350 with 21,742 original miles. Beautiful car with original top and clean interior.
1 of 262 5 speed manual convertible GT350s produced with a 4V 302.
Identical model sold at Barrett-Jackson for just over $71,000 earlier this year. While this car is no where near the pristine condition of the one sold at Barrett's it is still a very fine example.
Runs great- Top works perfectly- No oil or coolant leaks- Very clean interior- Nice paint with few nicks.
What I had done: Had cracking in the paint on the driver's side rear quarter when I bought it from bad primer used in a previous repair. I had a body-man repair and repaint. The same body-man removed a pin stripe from each side of the car and from the hood (I left the custom horseshoe painted on each side as shown in the pictures). When he removed the pin stripe from the hood he zipped off a small section of paint. To repair the hood had to be repainted.
What needs to be done: It has the original TRX wheels and tires. It needs new tires (pretty expensive) or swap out to non-metric wheels. The AC does not work.

The '84 GT 350 was Ford's officially recognized Anniversary Mustang, honoring 20 years of Ford's finest moment, the Mustang. The anniversary cars were all finished in Oxford White with Canyon Red interior, and treated with the nostalgic lower rocker GT 350 triple red stripe, red body side moldings, Pony fender emblems and unique anniversary dash badge alongside the unique-to-each-anniversary car its own serialized vehicle number. The GT 350 Anniversary cars were made in limited production with a total of only 5,261 cars built. This included both coupes and convertibles and with both motor options, the four-cylinder turbo and the 5.0-liter V8. The total production for the GT 350 convertible with 5.0-liter high-output 5-speed was only 587 in total. However, there were only 282 convertibles with the 5-speed manual V8 and desirable 4v carburetors. (Automatics had fuel injection, which is not as desirable.) Options include power steering, power brakes, front discs, traction lock axel, front air dam with integrated fog lights, factory air conditioning, high back sport seats, power convertible top and AM/FM cassette with additional power amp. These Anniversary Mustangs, with low serialized production, are defiantly a late-model collector category.
