I've started downvoting apparent and obvious shills lately, so I would recognize them on new posts. Surely I've started to see the same faces on certain posts, delivering a standard CTR routine: Derailing conversations, stating accusations as facts and generally seeming lifeless, fake, not authentic. It really becomes obvious if you compare shill-threads with weekends, how different the discussions all of a sudden become. They all of a sudden seem genuine again.
