A DESIGN THAT WOULD MAKE THE PROFESSOR PROUD
What makes the Chargemander special isn’t its power, it’s the design. You can load your phone directly into the case because of the high-quality state-of-the-art semi-soft materials that we use around the inner grooves. Most importantly, the hard exterior shell protects your phone from heavy impacts and hard falls.

We were able to create a beautiful case that even the Professor himself would be proud of, while preserving the integrity of the phone’s core functionality. You can easily use the volume, sleep and home buttons as well as the lightning connector, headphone jack and bottom microphone... and, of course, both cameras.

JAM-PACKED WITH COOL FEATURES
There are the classic red yellow and green LED lights on the front of your Chargemander. You can use these to check your battery status. Simply press the blue button.
Game for 33 hours straight. If your light goes red, head on home.
The front cover also doubles as a stand so that when you are sitting at your desk you can prop your phone up.
When you are out and about the front cover will also wrap completely around your chargemander and sit flat against the back so that it will never be in your way while you are hunting.
WELCOMING TRAINERS OF ALL (MOST) SHAPES AND SIZES
We know that trainers come in all shapes and sizes, as do their tools, which is why we are hoping to make versions of the Chargemander to accommodate all major Apple and Android cell phone models. After the campaign ends, we will send you a survey so that you can let us know which type of phone you have.
We are making Chargemander models that supports the following phones:
- iPhone SE, 5, 5s (not 5c), 6, 6s, 6 Plus, 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy S5, S6 and S7 (ALL MODELS including Edge and Active)
With all of the phone models listed above you will be able to access ALL of the exterior functions and buttons.
WE WILL NOW ALSO BE MAKING A UNIVERSAL-FIT VERSION OF THE CHARGEMANDER! (will work with 95%+ phones - more details to come!)

CHARGEMANDER TIMELINE
We began this project in early July. We started by concepting many designs and working with our Chinese factory to figure out a design that would function seamlessly while preserving the aesthetic of the Chagemander. After settling on a great design (see above), we began production of a prototype in mid July.
As of August 15th, we have a 3D printed prototype of the Chargemander (you can see all of our prototype shots in this Chargemander prototype gallery). This prototype is an accurate representation of the Chargemander's design/shape for an iPhone 6, but is not built with the actual materials and is not the final coloring. We've also built all of the battery and charging technology, but we need to customize these pieces with the Chargemander's shape.
With your help, we can put down the deposit for our first PO, which we will do as soon as we hit our goal **fingers crossed** and begin production of the final Chargemander model built with the actual materials, fully colored and with the customized electrical componants. After we put down the deposit it will be 30 days until we have fully finished Chargemanders and can begin shipping them to happy backers all over the world! See full timeline below.

- July 15: We began to build our Prototype
- August 15: Prototype Finished
- September 6th: Kickstarter Launches
- September 6th: Kickstarter hits goal!!
- September 6th: We put in initial PO
- October 7th: Kickstarter ends
- October 7th: Production is finished and units ship to US warehouse
- October 17th: Chargemanders ship to happy backers all over the world

Our Team
We're Reid Covington and Chase Larson. After being roommates during study aboard in Beijing in 2006 (see pic below) we began to plan the creation of a mobile gaming company.
GogoToro, and the Chargemander, is the fruition of our vision. We're united by our passion for gaming and never compromising on our gaming gear. We're proudly bootstrapped technologists/entrepreneurs and we owe it to our passionate community of fellow gamers.

Keeping a low temperature is an essential part of good charging. Our stat-of-the-art charging leverages the most current charging technology and, as such, keeps the temperature cooler than other cases. This is another reason the Chargemander is the fastest, best battery case in the world!

While I agree that my iPhone 6 sure as hell seems to die in about 4-5 hours, according to apple, an iPhone 6 can use internet for 10 hours without dying. And the Chargemander increases this lifespan to 33 hours - hence 300%+. In reality, it IS probably more like 600%, but we like to under promise and over deliver :)

This is true and we admit there are lots of great power banks on the market, some that have much more battery capacity than the Chargemander. But where the Chargemander puts them all to shame is it’s conveinence and charging speed. There is NO power bank or battery case that charges faster than the Chargemander, fully charging in just 15 minutes, it is the fastest charging battery case in the world. And throw in the fact that it is a phone case as well, that fits in your pocket, that makes it super convinient. Oh, and you said it, it looks cool too!! :)
