Mou benching him early on in the 2nd half was well deserved. Smalling had to do his dirty work. Didn't seem like he cared defending.

He looked decent going forward, but not too confident defending.

In fact I think he could have given a penalty away about a second before they got their penalty.

Not very well defensively I'd say. Had a good header though, he almost scored...

Either lacked match fitness or didn't care about the game, poor effort from someone who wants to try and break into the first team
