1957 Packard Clipper Wagon
cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 61000 title status: clean transmission: automatic
1957 Packard Clipper Wagon plus a 1957 Packard 4 door Sedan as a package deal complete with all parts needed for restoration of the wagon and the Sedan. The wagon is very rare and one of only 869 built and all 57 Packards have the 289 cubic inch Golden Hawk supercharged engine so this sale includes the two Paxton VS57 Superchargers and all hardware associated with them to restore the cars and rebuild the superchargers. Wagon presently has a four barrel Avanti manifold on it but included is the supercharger manifold with carb and air box including rebuild kits for both types of carbs. Many hard to find NOS parts like front turn signal housings, headlight doors, tail lights, lenses, motor mounts, all brake parts, bushings, gaskets, horn button and horn rim plus repair manuals. There are three complete sets of hub caps and new black wall tires on restored and painted rims on the wagon. The tail gate has a very rare and hard to find original emblem in the fold down license plate light which was a one year only item only used only on the wagon. I drove the car onto the trailer when I bought it four years ago and it has been garaged ever since. The included 4 door Sedan has rusted front eyebrows but included are NOS front right and left fenders. The wagon would be the one to restore and use the 4 door as a parts car if needed. Both cars have signal seeking radios and included is a third dash for spare parts. Also included is a NOS front bumper. These cars both have the Borg Warner automatic transmissions that were also common to Ford up to 1966, so easy to get fixed, when needed. 57 Packards also had the Studebaker version of posi-traction, so these were mussel cars that most people do not know existed with their 275 hp supercharged V8 engines. Body parts and running gear are all Studebaker as Packard was in name only after 1956 and the merger of Packard with Studebaker in 1954. These cars are rare and this pair with thousands in spare parts are well worth this reasonable sale price of $13,000. I do NOT need help in selling these cars so do not call about that. Cash before loading cars are the terms. Both cars have titles in my name. Car similar to Chevrolet, Chevy, Nomad, Ford,
